Many people misunderstand what Fascism is. They think Fascism is the iron-fisted oppression of the people by agents of the government. However, that's not what Fascism is at all. That's just tyranny, plain and simple--a symptom of the social illness that has been all Totalitarian forms of government in history, including, but certainly not limited to Communism, or what is today euphemistically called "Socialism," and even more euphemistically, "Democratic Socialism."

The man who is said to be the "Father of Fascism" was Italian dictator, Benito Mussolini, who was Hitler's ally during WWII. So, if there is anyone who is qualified to define what Fascism is, and what it's not, it would be him. In his own words, Mussolini described Fascism as "the merger of government and corporate power." He even once said that Fascism could better be described as "Corporatism," which is to say, government by and for the [corporate] oligarchs.

Fascism is essentially the system that we live under here in America, as do the people who live in all other so-called "Democratic" countries of the world. In fact, even when you closely study political systems that are supposedly based upon the tenets of Marxism (i.e., Socialism and Communism), what you see is that they too always end up operating as Fascistic systems--Technocratic systems [designed and run by unelected "experts"], under which a small number of oligarchs remain perched on top of the rest of the people, using government laws and regulations to drive more and more wealth into corporate coffers.

Think of mandatory insurance laws as good examples of Fascism. Anytime government points its gun at your head, and tells you that you must buy a product or service in the private marketplace in order to exercise your Natural Rights as a human being, such as the Right to live (even breath in and out the air of our environment), and the Right to travel upon the public roadways, then you've found Fascism.

I could give you another good example of Fascism. Think of the fact that, in the name of "efficiency" and "fraud prevention," food stamps are no longer printed and distributed by the U.S. Treasury, and then mailed to folks who need that type of public assistance. No! Instead, JP Morgan-Chase [a Rockefeller family banking front] administers the program on behalf of the USDA, and gets a substantial fee every time someone swipes one of their SNAP [debit] cards at the grocery store. That's textbook, "in-your-face" Fascism, folks.
